Our Window Replacement Services Include

We can sell and install any of the following windows elements into your home or building

Double-Hung Windows: These traditional windows have two sashes that slide vertically, providing excellent ventilation. Their tilt-in design simplifies cleaning, making them a popular choice for many homes.

Single-Hung Windows: Similar to double-hung, single-hung windows have one fixed sash and one that moves vertically. These are a cost-effective choice and are widely used in residential construction.

Casement Windows: Hinged at the sides, casement windows swing outward like a door when cranked open. They provide excellent ventilation and a clear view outdoors, ideal for hard-to-reach areas like above the kitchen sink.

Awning Windows: Hinged at the top, awning windows open outward, creating an 'awning' that can shield the interior from rain. They're often placed above doors or other windows, or in basements.

Picture Windows: These large, fixed windows do not open but provide ample natural light and expansive views. They're often installed in living rooms or other spaces where maximizing the view is a priority.

Bay and Bow Windows: These window types protrude from the home's exterior, creating a small nook or shelf on the interior. They are combinations of windows that together form a curve, letting in more light and offering expansive views.

Garden Windows: These box-shaped windows extend from the house and are typically found in kitchens. They're perfect for growing plants or herbs indoors, as they offer plenty of sunlight.

Sliding Windows: These windows slide horizontally and are easy to open and close. They offer a wide view of the outside and are ideal for rooms that need extra ventilation.

Storm Windows: These are installed in addition to the regular exterior windows. They offer an extra layer of insulation and protection against Texas's harsh weather conditions.

Energy-Efficient Windows: Given Texas's climate, many homeowners opt for energy-efficient windows. These often have double or triple glazing, low-E coatings, and are tightly sealed to prevent air leaks, helping to reduce energy costs.

Custom Windows: For homes with unique architectural features or specific needs, custom windows can be designed in virtually any shape or size.

Frequently Asked Window Replacement Questions

Here is a list of questions we're commonly asked about window replacements

Signs that it's time to replace your windows include difficulty opening and closing them, noticeable drafts or higher energy bills, condensation between glass panes, and visible decay or damage to the window frame or sash.

New construction windows are typically used in new homes or additions and attach directly to the frame studs. Replacement windows, on the other hand, fit into existing window openings and are generally used when the existing frame is still in good condition.

Consider double or triple-pane windows filled with insulating gas, low-E coatings to reflect heat, and energy-efficient frame materials. Proper installation is also crucial to ensure a tight seal and prevent air leaks.

The best material can depend on your needs. Vinyl frames offer good thermal insulation and are low maintenance. Wood frames have a classic look and excellent insulative properties, but require more maintenance. Aluminum frames are durable and resist harsh weather, but are less energy-efficient.

Yes, window replacement can typically be done in any season. Contractors have methods to minimize heat or AC loss during installation. However, severe weather can delay the process.

Energy-efficient windows can reduce heat transfer, leading to lower energy bills, more comfortable indoor temperatures, reduced UV damage to interior furnishings, and less strain on HVAC systems.

Absolutely, as long as the new window fits within the existing opening or the opening can be properly modified. It's an opportunity to update the look of your home, improve functionality, or increase natural light. Always consult with your contractor to understand what changes are feasible and beneficial.

Absolutely. Energy-efficient windows with low-E coatings, double or triple-pane glass, and quality frame materials can significantly reduce heat transfer, keeping your home cooler in the summer.

For hot Texas summers, consider windows with low-E coatings that reflect heat and UV rays back outside. For the occasional cold snaps, opt for windows with double or triple-pane glass filled with insulating gas. Always look for windows with a high Energy Star rating, as these are designed to handle extreme weather conditions.

Recently worked with LoneStar to remodel a bathroom and replace the kitchen counters and backsplash. They far exceeded my expectations from initial discussions on designs to the completed and flawless finish. Anna was extremely helpful in assisting in selecting designs and colors. They continuously provided progress updates and cleaned at the end of each day. Impeccable costumer service and professional - I highly recommend!

We had our kitchen cabinets updated by painting them white. I am so glad we hired Lonestar Home Solutions and did not try to do it ourself! I knew what I wanted but I felt so much more confident I would get the right look with their help. I was impressed with the companies core values and professionalism and would definitely recommend them! Every part of the experience was smooth and timely. The staff are awesome people to work with! The painter that came to our house was very reliable, punctual, trustworthy, kept all areas clean, and clearly communicated his plans/schedule daily. He did an outstanding job on our cabinets! So go with these pros, you’ll be so glad you did!

My wife and I have used LoneStar Home Solutions on 3 different occasions to do work on our lakehouse in Seguin. The most recent job was the biggest - a kitchen and bath remodel. We have really appreciated the care that their staff puts into making sure the project turns out the way we want it. Alycia, the project coordinator and Roland the construction manager are both excellent. They answer questions, help with decisions, and most importantly, are easy to contact and follow through with their commitments. We would not hesitate to use them again and highly recommend them.

We recently had LoneStar Home Solutions do work on our kitchen and bathroom. Roland was in charge of the crew and Donna was also a supervisor on our job. This company did outstanding work for us. They were very respectful of our time when asking questions. Roland was always accessible to answer any questions that we had. Donna was also keeping us apprised of any changes to or updates in our billing so it was easy to keep up with the accounting part. The work crew were especially kind and they all knew their trade well. We got to know some of the work crew pretty well. Sparky, Johnny, and Victor all did great tile and painting work. The guy who installed the shower also did a great job. I would definitely recommend LoneStar to any of my family members and friends for any remodel job in the future. We are very pleased with the way our home turned out.
